Input Documents
| • | Test Case |
Entry Conditions
| • | A possible defect has been uncovered, either through the execution of a test case or some other means. |
Procedure
| 1. | Log into Rally. |
| 2. | If applicable, use the Search capability to verify that a report on the defect does not already exist. |
| 3. | Select the Quality->Defects tab. |
| 4. | From the Actions menu, select the New Defect... menu item. |
| 5. | Complete the Create Defect page. |
| 6. | In the Description field, include Symptoms and Steps to Reproduce. |
| 7. | If applicable, create a screen print from the system that depicts the defect being reported and attach the screen print to the defect report. |
| 8. | Click the Save & Close button. |
Exit Condition
| • | Required fields are filled in, including the Steps to Reproduce. |
| • | After an issue has been created, a number will automatically be generated by the system. The status of the issue will be Submitted. |
