GFIT FastStart

GFIT FastStart™ is a consulting service provided by CastleBay Consulting Corporation. With FastStart™, a Waysys consultant experienced with GFIT and quality assurance works with the client’s staff to prepare actual test cases and GFIT fixtures.

Purpose

The purpose of this engagement is:

•	To help client staff identify and categorize GFIT test cases

•	To speed the writing of actual test cases

•	To speed the development of GFIT fixtures for those test cases

•	To provide real examples that client staff can emulate

•	To provide a body of automated tests earlier in the project than might be the case without this assistance

•	To help client staff learn and succeed in testing Guidewire products.

•	To give the client control over the extent of the engagement and the investment in the test cases

This engagement covers testing with ClaimCenter 6.0, PolicyCenter 4.0, or BillingCenter 3.0.

Tasks

Tasks performed under this engagement include:

•	Working with client staff, Waysys will help the client categorize and prioritize test cases.

•	Based on client's recommendations, Waysys will select a subset of test cases for implementation.

•	Waysys will perform test case analysis to develop FIT test cases for the identified set of tests.

•	Waysys will implement GFIT fixtures for the subset of test cases.

•	Waysys will execute the identified test cases and work with client staff to provide the test cases to developers.

•	Waysys will help client staff set up continuous integration testing with GFIT.

•	Waysys will mentor identified client staff in preparing and running GFIT tests.

Deliverables

Under this engagement, Waysys will provide these deliverables:

•	An inventory of test cases to be addressed

•	FIT test cases in HTML format for use with GFIT

•	GFIT fixtures in Gosu source code with source code comments

•	Weekly progress reports and schedule estimates
