Input Documents

Entry Conditions
| • | A defect report in Open status exists. |
| • | A developer has been assigned to the defect report. |
Procedure
| 1. | Open the defect report in edit mode. |
| 2. | Change the State to Open.. |
| 3. | Save the report. |
| 4. | Based on the information provided in the defect report, identify the cause of the problem, make the required changes, and unit test the system. |
| 5. | Include the generated defect report identifier as a reference in the source code being repaired, as appropriate. |
| 6. | Once the defect is resolved, update the Resolution field. |
| 7. | In the Notes field, indicate how you resolved the problem. |
| 8. | Save the report. |
Exit Condition
| • | Defect resolution, assignee, and comments are filled in. |
| • | Defect report is in Pending Verification status. |
